End of the show for this season

Hey guys!

Just wanted to thank everyone who followed my blog and watched the show on Laker TV. Like I have said numerous times, I am always open to your suggestions about the show and what we should do for next year. And if anyone wants to get involved, let me know!

I hope everyone watched my video project, behind the scenes..There was a small glitch in the beginning (woops!) but that gave you a sneak peak at what goes into the show.

Gossip Girls ends for the year

Well, we did it! The Season 1 of Gossip Girls has come to end because we only have ONE more week of school (which I still CAN'T believe!) We filmed this past Thursday, so our newest show will run MWF at 6 PM... Be sure to catch it!!

I also will be posting a Behind the Scenes of Gossip Girls on here shortly. For our video project in this class, I decided to go behind the scenes of the show, to show you guys what we do in order to prep for the show every week!

This show has taught me a lot. Yes, it may be boring, and long.. but I never was in front of the camera until I got involved with it. It taught me how to show my personality on camera, and not be so shy and held back. If you watch the first episode of our show and the last, it is a complete 180. I was sooooo quiet and incredibly nervous. Now I can call myself confident and not as camera-shy!

I would love to think of another show to get involved in for next year. I had mentioned before, a Mercyhurst Dating Show, would be absolutely hilarious. I am considering producing that. If anyone has any ideas, or is maybe interested in hosting or helping, PLEASE help me!

Gossip girls, LAST SHOW THIS WEEK!

Havent been on here in a bit, BUT, Gossip ends this week at Mercyhurst... It's CRAZY that the year is over, everything has to come to an end :(
I am excited for the last show, Kristen and I have a ton of catching up to do. We obviously are going to give an earfull about the Hills.

If anyone has any suggestions for this show or any ideas about maybe producing a different show with different ideas, please let me know! I am always up for a new challenge and something different.

Friday Night at 6!

gossip show continued!

Hellllo Again, Happy Sunday!

Like I said in the post before, I am going to continue the show that was supposed to be on Laker TV, but we yet again FAILED at doing so, woooops!!

Supposively Sandra filed for divorce. How sad. These people seem to have everything going for them, but when their family falls apart, everything falls apart. It is truly sad to see that! You can have all of the money in the world, but if you don't have geniune loved ones, then you have nothing. I feel sorry for Sandra.. I really respect her as an actress and hope she finds true happiness in her life!!

EMTA bus was recently cancelled last weekend because of poor behavior. I myself have ridden numerous times on the bus, of course I cannot disagree, but I guess that is what you get on the "drunk bus." Honestly, thank God it keeps drunk people off the road though. Drunk driving concerns me so much, because I have heard of stupidity from college students who are desperate for a ride home and would take the innitiative to do that. That is AWFUL! This past weekend, they luckily brought the EMTA bus back, which everyone seems to be incredibly greatful for. Hopefully the behavior was okay, and they will continue the bus for the rest of this year and the next. EVERYONE BEHAVE! COME ON!

The Show!

The Start of the show was about Kate Gossilen, and how she was kicked off Dancing with the Stars. Rumor has it she is already getting involved with YET another show. Why can't this mom of all those children just stay at home!? And not worry about being on TV and making some $$$.. I think she needs to figure out what is really important in life, besides fame!

Next topic that was on our show is obviously... THE HILLS!!! The season premire of Season Six, was on Tuesday.. My thoughts: Heidi-completely brain-washed and lost. After her 300 surgeries, she looks awful. She lost her bubbly edge that we saw in season one, it is sooooo dissapointing! The look on her moms face was horrible, she lost her daughter. It is amazing what TOO much money can do to someone. I feel bad that Heidi, honestly, ruined her life!.... Kristin C and her partying till 5 AM.. Yuck, I could never do that! Rumor has it she is on drugs! Wouldn't surprise me, honestly. I hope she isn't, because Kristin's beautiful, but you never know what those Hollywood partiers are doing. Otherwise, loved the show. Always get sucked into these shows.. Can't wait to see the next episode!

So much has been going on! First of all--show cancelled again. Kristen has a death in the family and ironically, same thing is happening with my family! Grandpa's been real sick, may have to head home early again!! :-/
So besides all that, just wanted to let you guys know that on Friday, the show will be a re run! However, I am going to post the show that we were supposed to film on here!!! So you can catch the episode on this blog, before the weekend :)

havent written in so long (woops)~! Probably because things keep coming up, and we have not filmed in a while! TOO LONG! But we are back, officially, and we have a LOT of entertainment to share with the Laker viewers this week! Here is a sneak peak at what we will be talking about!

Im Back! And so is GOSSIP!

Gossip Girls is BACK this week! We are here to bring the NEWEST gossip. However, there hasn't been THAT much exciting gossip lately. Kristen and I have been doing a lot of research on celebs lately and I have not seen too much!













SO, Dancing with the Stars was interesting.. On Thursday, we are filming and talking a lot about this weeks episode!

Jake from the Bachelor has been doing pretty well.. Make sure you watch our show on Friday to hear more views, K. Grenga always has a lot to say about it!!

Sex and the City is also going to be discussed. This is one of my all time favorite movies.. and the new one is coming out in the end of May!

My favorites

So since this blog is mainly about me, and my show, Gossip Girls (which airs M-W-F @ 6 PM) :) I figured I could make a post saying my favorites.. my favorite everything from Hollywood..

SO here is goes :)

1. Favorite Movie's of all time-- The Holiday and Taken
2 Favorite TV shows-- The Hills (yes I am a sucker) and Desperate Housewives, Real Housewives of Orange County (do NOT ask me why) and Modern Family... I am not into those Law and Order and CSI shows, they are all the same to me! Basically, you can't get away with anything, because those people will find you.
3. Favorite Music/singers--- Big country fan. All types of country music sounds great to me. Taylor Swift is a favorite, Rascal Flatts...biggg fan!
4.Favorite actress/s--- Jennifer Anniston, Rachel McAdams, Eva Longoria
5. Favorite Actor/s---Channing Tatum



So that is basically my favorites in Hollywood.. I am sure there is more..

My TRUE opinion about the "entertainment world"

Thought I would add in here a little bit about my opinions on celebrities and the "Hollywood" scene... You would think I obsess over the entertainment world, probably because I have a show and a blog about it... but think again! I do and I don't.. Here's why...

I think celebrities are in their OWN world.. apart from the rest of us.
I think they are extremely OVERPAID. That is what makes me most upset about them. I do not understand why people who are out there saving lives (doctors) who are not getting paid nearly as much as people who are on reality shows *cough cough* KATE GOSSLIN! It makes me so angry! Firefighters, nurses, teachers, etc... people who are really HELPING others and making a difference in this world should be paid as much as people who are in movies.. NOW, do not get me wrong, I LOVE movies, love tv, love music.. but I do not think they deserve all of that money!!

I think people like HEIDI MONTAG, are sick! She has done what good for anyone? None. She is the definition of "Hollywood" getting to someone's head. I feel sorry for her. She seemed like such a wholesome, down to earth person, who got sucked up in material things and a crazy husband!

It is sad what TOO much money can do to people, I totally believe it can ruin someone, which is very unfortunate.

I love entertainment, especially music, I am just giving my honest truth about it all. Yes I follow celebs and talk about it, but do I, when it comes down to it, really respect it and the people living in that world? NOT at all.

Filming some entertainment tomorrow!

We are back!! This week, we are on for filming!
We have so much to catch up on.... A lot of new celeb gossip has happened...
A lot with Justin Timberlake and his new love triangle, expect to see a lot of that.

Also, I know since Kristen Grenga is a huge "Gosslin" fan, I am sure she has been Keeping up with Dancing with the Stars to see how Kate Gosslin was doing in the competition.. I saw a little bit of it, and she is AWFUL! Who is keeping her on that show!??! That is my question.. Kristen and I will for sure talk about it during filming and I am sure we will fight about her.. Kate is just rude. She gives off an awful vibe! She should be at home taking care of her 400 kids instead of wasting her time TRYING to dance, key word, TRYING!

Enough with Kate Gosslin...

How about that Tiger Woods commercial? Weird is an understatement... We talked about it in class on Monday, it defintely gave people something to talk about.. Tiger says he wants to be private and keep people out of his business, then he does THIS type of commercial, bringing his dead father's voice on national tv... I do not really think that works for keeping private, Tiger, SORRY! He in my eyes, great golfer, yes, but horrible example to young people... he lost my fan vote!

Obviously we will be talking about that tomorrow... and MUCH more!

The housewives show is always a great hit with Kristen and I... we keep up with those all of the time.. so I am sure that will be on the list of topics...


The rest I will have to keep a secret and just let you guys WATCH the show,
it is on FRIDAY night at 6 PM

Gossip Girls returns (for sure this time)... this week!

Kristen and I really wanted to spend this weeks show talking about the Hills. It is airing at the end of April, and if you watch our show, you will know that we are pretty obsessed! I will put the link of the Season 6 Trailor... they really make it so people want to watch the show!

Weeeeekend

Well, Snow in Erie, In April? Not surprised honestly, sort of figured we'd get at least one more snow storm before the summer! It is awful! I wish so bad it was hot and sunny, but then again, I would want to skip class.

As I said before, Gossip Girls did not film this week and will not be on Laker TV this evening! Sorry for all you who watch the show, do not be too dissapointed!! :) Anyways, I would love it if I can get something together, like a poll of some sort, to ask our audience what we could do to change up the show. I feel like there could be possibly something we could do different that our viewers could be interested in seeing. Even if these idea's would help us with next years Gossip Girls show, OR even ideas for a whole different show. Kristen and I were talking about producing a Mercyhurst Dating Show.. which could be really entertaining and funny. I would totally watch a dating show if this school had one! So maybe we will!

Anyways, class is about to begin, so I am going to pay attention... But of course I will be back for more, and entertainment news since I promised some in my post before!! :)

Gossip Girls this week!

I celebrated my 21st birthday last night! Took this week off of filming because Kristen Grenga and I could not find time to meet to put the show together :-(
I feel a little behind with the entertainment news! I have not been watching E news or researching on the internet, I've done some major slacking this week! Obviously we will be filming next week again... I was going to talk a lot about the new celebrity relationships and Tiger Woods, because he is playing at the Masters this week. I am disgusted with Tiger! I find the subject fascinating because I do not think he should have the opportunity to possibly win another Masters, after what he put his family through. He was so deceiving! Horrible example! Anyways, I will get off that subject, it obviously makes me mad!

I will write more about celebs on here later, since we failed to film this week!

Just got to Mercyhurst this morning... Interview at Fox 8 went SO well, I find out next week if I got the internship! A lot of new celeb gossip this week! Cant wait to get to the show and film about it!

Birthday Week

Easter's over, school resumes tomorrow (Tuesday, April 6th) and it's officially my birthday week!!! Gossip Girls is going to be filmed on Thursday, the usual.. I don't know much celebrity gossip as of now, but when Grenga and I get together this week, I am sure we will be digging up a lot! I have an interview to be an Intern at Fox 8, Cleveland today at 3! NERVOUS! I am going to talk about this show and how it has made me less shy on camera.. I never had any class or program that put me on camera, except for one small one in High School! I think this show has definitely made me realize I love this field and I someday (hopefully) want to be in it! Well, that is all I have for right now, be back this week for more!!!! :-)

Gossip Girls take Easter Break

We usually film our show every Thursday... We prepare for our shows right before, discussing the latest and hottest gossip in the news! We always love to add a little "spice" to our show by doing different categories and games that can get our audience involved.. Thinking of the different activities is kind of challenging. Kristen and I come together and think about, "Hmmm, what would I like to see if I were the viewer?" This week we are not filming. We are all leaving for Easter Vacation! But when we get back, we want to keep the show going and add different things as we go. Last show, Alex Keener, who works for Laker TV, decided to join our show and add a little comedy twist to it. We enjoyed his company and hope to have him back soon!

What do gossip girls gossip about?

So you may think that gossip girls could be girls who sit and gab gab gab about drama going on around campus, new relationships, gossip about people you may not be too fond of.... wrong! This show that runs on Mercyhurst Laker TV is all about the latest celebrity gossip with a twist of getting to know the hosts. Myself, Kristen Ribelli and fellow host, Kristen Grenga, meet every week to discuss the latest news that fascinates us and could possibly fascinate the female college students as well, and maybe some males! Not only do we love bringing viewers celeb gossip, but we love bringing our personalities as well. Our point is to get our opinions out to people and show them what we love and what we think. The show has been running since Fall Term and I do believe people that faithfully watch the show, know a lot about who I am and a lot of my interests. Keep up with my posts to see week to week what our shows will consist of and learn more about me! :-)
